OSHA - 10 Hr Construction Industry

This ten-hour/2-day course will present a variety of CFR standards in 1-hour increments. Following successful completion, participants will be issued OSHA course completion cards.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) Outreach Program is a voluntary training program designed to instruct construction personnel in the primary OSHA construction standards. Required Topics for Selection:

Introduction to OSHA

• OSHA Focus Four Hazards – Fall Protection, Electrical, Struck By, Caught in/between
• Personal Protective and Lifesaving Equipment
• Health Hazards in Construction – Hazard Communication and Silica Stairways and Ladders

Must Select Two Topics:

Hazardous Materials Tools – Hand & Power Scaffolds Cranes, Derricks, Hoists, Elevators, and Conveyors

Excavations Electives: Any OSHA Construction standard
