Students receive a ‘Fall Prevention in Construction Training’ Handbook. Each student will receive an OSHA / Florida Safety Council “Fall Protection & Prevention in Construction” certificate of completion.

Objective: For participants to begin building a lifelong attitude of safety awareness and vigilance among those workers who previously did not understand or acknowledge its importance. To assist participants
in better understanding how carelessness or ignorance of fall protection can negatively impact their lives, families and loved ones. To assist them in finding their voices to stand up for their right to a safe workplace.
Upon course completion students will have the ability to define construction terms found in the OSHA Construction Standards, identify fall hazards which occur in the construction industry.
The Florida Safety Council is not an OTI Education Center, but serves as a HOST
Training Organization for the Volunteer State Community College OTI Education
