Class Description:
OSHA believes that many US construction workers suffer hearing loss from noise exposure at their job site. After completion of the course students will be able to: Describe the properties of sound; Discuss noise-induced hearing loss; Explain OSHA's construction industry noise standards; Demonstrate the use of sound level meter & noise dosimeter; Describe methods of controlling noise exposure at construction sites; and Demonstrate the use of OSHA's construction noise outreach training material.
