Class Description:
Req’d for all people w/ direct responsibility for placement of wk zone traffic control devices for minor wk zone setups that incl any of the following activities: Landscaping, Surveyors, Pipe Install, Irrigation, TV Cable Co., Electric co, Tree Trimmers, Telephone Co Only the following 2006 Design Standards Indexes* apply to these activities - 601:2-Lane, 2-Wy Wk Outside Shoulder; 602: 2-Lane, 2-Wy Wk On Shoulder; 603: 2-Lane, 2-Wy Wk Within the Travel Wy; 604: 2-Lane, 2-Wy Wk In Intersection; 605: 2-Lane, 2-Wy Wk Near Intersection; 611: Multilane Wk Outside Shoulder; 612: Multilane Wk On Shoulder; 613: Multilane Wk Within the Travelway Median, Outside Lane; 615:Multilane Wk In Intersection; 616: Multilane Wk Near Intersection, Median, Outside Lane; 635: Wk in Vicinity or Railroad Crossing; 660: Pedestrian Control For Closure or Sidewalks. *For wk zone setups besides those specifically covered in the above indexes, Intermediate or Advanced Training is required as applicable.
