Class Description:
OSHA Regulation 1910.178 states that only trained & authorized employees shall be permitted to operate a powered industrial truck (forklift). This program is ideal for new operators as well as experienced ones. Each employer must evaluate & certify the employee initially & every three years. Topics include: Basic operating rules; Forks & brakes; Operator safety; Load capacity & load center; Stacking & unstacking; Cleaning, refueling and recharging; Daily inspections; Emergency procedures, and much more!
