Class Description:
Prerequisite: Be a current OSHA-authorized Construction Outreach Trainer; Completed a 40Hr HazWoper course; Have a minimum of 3 yrs experience as an occupational safety & health trainer in HazMat or emergency response; OR Possess journey level credentials in the construction trades; OR Possess the technical skills or credentials in construction work equivalent to the journey level.This course prepares experienced trainers to present Disaster Site Worker (OSHA 7600). Trainers are given the opportunity to practice knowledge, skills & attitudes through discussion, planned exercises, demonstrations & presentations. Students receive lesson plan & training materials for the Disaster Site Worker Course & information on training techniques & resources.
