Class Description:
16Hr course: Two 8-hr days
Our courses are in full compliance with FDOT's requirements. This course includes: Detailed discussion and handout of the Design Standards, Index 600; Review & handout of the "Qualifications for Flaggers" found in the MUTCD. Topics discussed: Legal liability; Recordkeeping; Traffic control devices; Installation & removal of traffic control devices; Layouts for traffic control zones; Operation & maintenance of traffic control zones. A test is given at the end of the course, and students must get at least 70% to pass. Upon successful completion, student will receive a wallet card valid for 4 years.
